Wow. When I first heard this I almost shat myself.
Now, first things first. I have never watched NCIS. First of all it’s on CBS, and if you’ve read this blog before, you know my utter contempt for CBS television and acronyms. (except HIMYM). Second of all, who does Mark Harmon think he is?
Mark Harmon. He was in SUMMER SCHOOL! Not only was he IN Summer School, he STARRED in Summer School.
So Mark Harmon, star of Summer School, has decided that he has enough Hollywood clout to derail a thriving television series on CBS. Sure he does. I mean, Tom Hanks has Bussom Buddies. Oh yeah, he also did Forest Gump, Philadelphia and Apollo 13.
No such credentials on Harmon’s resume. But he did direct an episode of Chicago Hope! Take that Les Moonves!
Now lets say that indeed Mr. Harmon quit NCIS. What would he do? I have 4 roles that I think Harmon could do well in.
1) ER - Looks life half the cast of ER is bailing. So Harmon could play a new doctor that enters the ER looking to change the world.
2) Guest Host on Unwrapped. He kind of looks like Marc Summers. I think that’s the only qualification for the job.
3) Surreal World. He could take part in a torrid love affair with Courtney Thorne Smith, who is about due to be on that show too. However, the love affair would end after Harmon puts his hands down the pants of the guy that played Elvin on the Cosby Show, with sexy results!
4) Key Grip on The Office. He isn’t funny enough to be on the show, but he could probablly do some good off camera.
So incunclusion, Mark Harmon is an egotistical pre-madonna that needs to pick up the phone and dial reality, before it zooms on by.
