I was only five when ‘Mad Men’ takes place, but I love wallowing in the detail seen for the period. This is one show that feels richly made. And because of the difference in attitudes, fashion etc between then and now, it almost feels like an alien landscape; like one of those ‘Twilight Zones’ in a parallel universe that’s not quite right.
And great actors besides! Especially enjoying Christina Hendricks (?), I think that’s her name, playing Joan.
