13FebLive In A Car, Get Spotlighted On Idol

  • So the dude in the car seems to be the front runner on Idol.  The Mika song he performed was spot on.  He seems like a minature Chris Martin in waiting.   However, I hope Idol doesn’t keep reminding us that he lives in a car, because there’s a certain snaggley tooth Alaskan named Jewel that has that whole angle on lock down.
  • Last night’s episode was good, but I was shocked that the single mom with the special needs kid got cut.  Seems pretty low to highlight her, use her struggle and then toss her aside.
  • That goofy kid with the glasses and tie will be this year’s Sanjaya.  So get used to seeing him around for a while.
  • Lastly, the big disappointment was that Simon went winkless.  I love those shady winks he shoots at the ladies.  God, if only I was aloud to be that creepy!
